FOREVER HOME WANTED

I am looking for a Forever home for Max , a home with another dog/dogs who he can learn from.

Max loves everyone and is very sociable and loving.

He is excellent on and off lead and has no behavioural problems.

He has previously been trained and is very obedient.

He doesn’t really know how to play and will wait for commands.

He hasn’t been around children since he was surrendered but due to his placid nature I feel he would be ok with older children.

Someone is going to be very lucky to adopt such an amazing adorable boy

Give as much information and detail as possible –

Max is very gentle, docile and loving boy, he loves a fuss and to lie next to you on the sofa, often on his back, with his head on your lap. Max is a mans dog, but loves everybody he needs another dog for company., so he can learn to play. Max loves everyone he comes across. he does not like small spaces, maybe because he was kept in a rabbit hutch

Would you like to tell us anything about the dog that hasn’t

been covered –

We don’t know Max’s history, but he has been well trained, comes to heel on and off the lead, looking up for instructions as he walks along, he sits for food or on command. Max does not know what a ball is, a dog toy or a treat. So being with another dog would help him have some fun in his remaining years. He is just learning that he can run around and does not have to heel all the time, but needs another dog to show him how to be a dog. He sleeps through the night.

Max was obviously a working dog either gun or flushing dog, been kept outside only having human contact when needed. Max has been kept in our home with our two dogs (girls). He loves being with human males and he appreciates his foster home. Max needs to spend his remaining years enjoying himself as a dog, with another dog or dogs and people.
