FOREVER HOME WANTED

LOCATION- North Yorkshire ( meet and greet applies)

I am looking for Rupert’s Forever Home .

He could live as an only dog or with a like minded dog who wouldn’t mind him jumping all over them ( he is lacking in dog socialisation)

He could live with dog savvy children over 10 years.

He needs an active home where he isnt left for longer than 2 hours.

He is a great dog who has really come so far in foster .

Name - Rupert

Age - 23 months

Breed - Working cocker

Neutered- yes in foster

Since going into foster Rupert has settled in well.

He is very energetic, loving and cheeky.

Rupert will benefit with further training, he would enjoy an active lifestyle such as agility or scent work or an active couple or family.

Rupert is very bouncy so older children would be better say 10 years and over.

Rupert has never shown any aggression with anything while with us, he is happy to wait for his food to be made and put down, he chills on an evening ( as long as he gets his exercise) he is friendly with other dogs but is still learning doggy etiquette and to not jump all over when meeting .

so lots of social plays with the right dog would benefit him.

He is great company during the day and will sit by your feet while working.

Rupert no longer uses the crate and is happy on his bed in the kitchen when we are out or at bed time.

We have worked him being more settled on his own and he is starting to know we will always be back.

So now he is happy for about 2.5 hrs and we put the radio on ( music - through a dogs ears on Spotify) it's fab

He really is such a beautiful kind soul and very affectionate with lots to give.

Rupert will go with his crate, bowl, food, toys, lead and blankets and bed.
