Ben is a typical happy excitable 20 wk old springer pup who craves attention and would definitely benefit from a playful doggy friend to live with.

He is very food orientated and will try jump at work tops given the chance. Currently slowly learning to wait patiently for food and not jump

Enjoys playing with toys his favourite being tuggy. As hes teething he also likes chewing on hooves and bull horns though given the opportunity will pinch a shoe or blanket to chew he will try to run off with them but can easily get them off him with a treat or offer him something more appropriate. Will mouth when excited too

Happily settles in crate when left for couple hours and sleeps quietly in one overnight in bedroom.

He is 99% Housetrained.

When left loose for an hr he wasn't destructive but was very unsettled and seems happier to be crated at this stage when left

Currently on 3 meals of raw a day which he enjoys though he wud happily eat anything offered!

He knows some basic obedience such as sit, paw and wait. Learning to leave and drop things. Lead walking is a work in progress as pulls and will chew lead. Does have a good recall on a long line and off lead in enclosed field. Doesn't like his collar and harness being put on but learning to stay still

Respectful when meeting other dogs of all ages and will leave if other dog wants nothing to do with him. Submissive when meeting new people but soon comes round especially when treats are involved. Likes to cuddle on sofa and chill

Ben would ideally be suited by a home with at least one other playful dog to entertain him and show him the ropes. He is a blank canvas that could excel doing agility, hoopers, scentwork, canix or just a home where he will get lots of fun active walks.
